The City of Des Peres hereby gives notice that sealed bid proposals for “Des Peres Park Playground

Implementation – Playground Equipment.” Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday,

June 22, 2023, at Des Peres City Hall, 12325 Manchester Road, at which time they will be publicly

opened and read.

Bids should be submitted in duplicate in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Des Peres Park Playground

Implementation – Playground Equipment.” and include the name of the bidder and date and time of

the bid deadline on the front of the envelope to:

Bids may be delivered in person, by carrier or by mail. It is the sole responsibility of the vendor to see

that his/her bid is received in proper time. Late bids, faxed, and e-mailed bids will not be accepted.

Bid packages will be available for download on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, after 11:00 a.m. by visiting

A five (5) percent bid security in the form specified must accompany each bid. A Performance Bond shall

be required for one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of the bid prior to signing the purchase

order.

Bidders’ Questions Period will conclude on June 16, 2023, at close of business.

The City of Des Peres reserves the right to reject all bids, waive technicalities, and award any bid that is

the most advantageous and to make investigations concerning the experience and ability of the bidder

to perform the work.
