Sealed bids for the Fairoyal Drive Reconstruction Project will be received by the City of Des Peres, City Clerk's Office, until 2:00 P.M., on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 FRIDAY FEBRUARY 19, 2021. The bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud at 2:05 PM in Council Chambers, City Hall, 12325 Manchester Rd, Des Peres MO 63131. Two copies of the bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the project name, date, and time of opening clearly written on the envelope.
The Scope of Work consists of the removal and replacement of approximately 9,000 SY of concrete street (2,100’ x 38’). The project includes three traffic calming features (neckdowns) and five curb ramps. In addition, the project includes the installation of approximately 360’ of MSD stormwater pipe and stubs to residences for groundwater mitigation. Traffic control and other incidental items shall be included as shown in the specifications.
Bid packages will be available Tuesday, January 26, 2021 from the Des Peres City Clerk, 12325 Manchester Rd, Des Peres MO 63131 or they can be downloaded immediately at the link below
Not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages shall be paid to all workers performing under this Contract in this area according to the rates determined by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations of the State of Missouri.
A bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid amount must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
The City reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to waive any irregularities in the best interest of the City.
