Popular Annual Financial Report Program

Overview
The Department of Finance has received the Award of Outstanding Achievement in Popular Annual Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) for the past 8 years. In 2016 we have renamed our PAFR the Citizens' Financial Report and believe that it continues to meet the requirements for this award and have submitted the 2021 document to the GFOA for consideration.

The GFOA established the PAFR program in 1991 to encourage and assist state and local governments to extract information from their comprehensive annual financial report to produce high quality popular annual financial reports specifically designed to be easily accessible and understandable to the general public and other interested parties without a background in public finance.
