Basic, city paid services include once a week curbside pick-up on Monday of the following items:
- Trash
- Bulky items
- Yard waste
- Recycling
Residents wanting additional pick-ups or rear yard service will need to set up the service with IESI by calling (636) 321-2100 and pay a fee for the additional service requested. For more information on trash and recycling service specifics listed above, please consult our

Pick-Up Days
All residents receive yard waste pickup on Mondays. However, when large volumes, weather problems, or holidays occur, the pick-ups extend into Tuesdays and sometimes even Wednesdays.
The regular trash, recyclables, and bulky items are picked on Monday through Friday. Each day covers a different section of town and

Recycling Opportunities
Des Peres has been an advocate of recycling as a means to both improve the environment and extend the life of area landfills since creation of a Citzens Solid Waste Task Force in 1990.
2013 represents the 23nd year that Des Peres has offered free curbside recycling as a part of our solid waste management. A list of the acceptable items to recycle is available at City Hall, 12325 Manchester Rd or online, by clicking
