Amy Boyd - Team Member Since December 2010
Amy began working for the City of Des Peres in 2010 as the Aquatic Specialist. Amy was promoted to the Aquatic Supervisor in December 2016 - she fulfilled this role until being promoted to serve as the Interim Recreation Superintendent in March of 2021 and is now the Parks and Recreation Manager of Recreation Programming. As the Parks and Recreation Manager of Recreation Programs her responsibilities include overseeing operations and programs in the areas of fitness, aquatics, general recreation, and sports. Amy also oversees Midwest Pool Management serving as liaison between The Lode Des Peres and Midwest Pool. Before working for the City of Des Peres, Amy worked for the Waukegan Park District in Waukegan, IL at the Field House Sports and Fitness Center where she was the Fitness and Aquatic Specialist. Her experience covers many areas of fitness, facility operations, and special events. Amy holds a degree from the University of Missouri in Parks, Recreation and Tourism as well as a Master’s Degree in Recreation Management and Sports Marketing from the University of Illinois.
