INVITATION FOR BIDS
Sealed bids for the ACM and LBP Abatement of the Lower Level of the existing City Hall, located at 12325 Manchester Road, Des Peres, MO 63131, will be received by the City of Des Peres, City Clerk's Office, until 2:00 P.M., on September 1, 2023. The bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud at 2:05 PM in Council Chambers, City Hall, 12325 Manchester Rd, Des Peres MO 63131. Two copies of the bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the project name, date, and time of opening clearly written on the envelope.
The City of Des Peres, MO is in the planning stages for renovations to the existing City Hall
located at 12325 Manchester Road. The facility is a 4-story building (lower level, Level 01, Level
02, Level 03) with a total square footage of approximately 30,000 GSF. This Construction
Package of the project calls for the abatement of existing hazardous materials within the Lower
Level. The Scope of Work consists of the selective removal work outlined by the project
documents, abatement of hazardous materials (lead based paint and asbestos) and 3rd party air
clearances as required during abatement operations.

Not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages shall be paid to all workers performing under this Contract in this area according to the rates determined by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations of the State of Missouri.
A bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid amount must accompany each bid in
accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
The City reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to waive any irregularities in the best
interest of the City.
