  1. Electronic Recycling Event

    The City of Des Peres in cooperation with Midwest Recycling Center is hosting a FREE Electronics Recycling event. Electronics are the fastest-growing part of the world's trash problem, with an estimated 50 million computers becoming obsolete annually. Every day, individuals and organizations dispose of mountains of e-waste, containing hazardous and toxic materials that pose significant environmental risks: CRT monitors with toxic lead oxide that can leach into the ground water; PC-related components & batteries with chromium, nickel, zinc, mercury and other heavy metals; plastic equipment housings that can release dangerous gases if incinerated. Midwest Recycling is registered with the EPA, is Level 4 Certified with the Missouri Department of Natural Services and is Nationally R2 certified. Midwest Recycling has a zero landfill policy. This event is open to anyone..residents, non-residents, schools, churches, businesses, etc.

  2. Fall Festival in Des Peres Park

    Join us for a free, fabulous fall evening at the park. Enjoy Bluegrass music, hayrides, pumpkin races, and a Disney family movie under the stars, Frozen (rated PG). Bring your lawn chairs and coolers with your favorite snacks and beverages. Glass bottles are not permitted. Concessions are available for purchase from 5 - 8 p.m. courtesy of Boy Scout Troop 313.   3. Friday Night Live

    October 24, 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM @ Lower Level

    Middle School students (ages 10-13 years) are invited to a haunted event at The Lodge with your friends! Enjoy great activities, cool games, fitness classes and more. The fun starts at 6 p.m. and parent pick up is at 9 p.m. The concession stand will be open to purchase snacks (no food provided). Tickets can be purchased the night of the event. Participants should remember to bring their swimsuit, towel, tennis shoes and their best behavior. Family friendly costumes are optional.

    Residents are encouraged to meet and socialize with their neighbors during this time. Des Peres police officers, fire fighters, members from the Des Peres Public Safety Commission and Des Peres Elected Officials will visit as many block parties as possible. The goal of the event is to foster partnerships between citizens and our police/fire organizations and to acknowledge the many residents and neighborhoods taking an active role in promoting safe communities.
