INDOOR AQUATIC CENTER FACILITIES
At the Indoor Aquatic Center at The Lodge, you can simmer in the warmth of the 104-degree whirlpool spa or drift along the gentle surf of the 84-degree wave pool, which doubles as a six-lane, 25-yard lap pool. The toddler pool is a playful puddle with fountains and spouts. An immense indoor flume slide shoots brave swimmers through loops that stretch outside the building before bringing them back for a splashdown. In our wave pool, you can brave the waves on a tube or float along, relaxing your cares away. Children love the beach-style entry, allowing them to ease into the waves slowly. In addition to chlorine, all of our indoor pools use an ultraviolet sanitation system to give you a safer and cleaner pool with fewer chemicals. Our main pool serves a multitude of functions including lap swimming, water walking, swimming lessons, water exercise and open swim.

The Aquatic Center strives to provide a balance between open swimming, lap swimming and programming. To see when each is offered, please view the monthly schedule:

Additional Open Swim times offered during holidays and school breaks. See When to Swim Schedule above for details. “Open Swim” is defined as the time when our Aquatic Center is available for our members and guests to play in the pool(s).
Thursday: 4 - 8 p.m. Open Swim NO Waves
Friday: 4 - 8 p.m. Open Swim with Waves*
Saturday: 12 - 7 p.m. Open Swim with Waves
Sunday: 12 - 5 p.m. Open Swim with Waves
*Due to special events, open swim will close at 7:30 p.m. on 3/30/18 and close at 7 p.m. on 4/20/18.
OUTDOOR AQUATIC FACILITIES
At The Lodge, we see waters that are never still. We see our children’s sunny smiles as they shuffle between our two outdoor pools. Our lower pool features an oceanic entry, an otter slide and plenty of open play space. The upper pool is home to our cool water whirlpool, lazy river and two slides, a flume and 75 foot speed slide. Plus, the whole family will delight in the refreshing mist of our splash pad with its fountains, tumble buckets and spray features. Cruise down the lazy river inside a single or double tube designed for parent and tot. Teenagers will enjoy the sunning pad with just enough water to cover your feet and keep you cool in the hot St. Louis summer sun.

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY
The pool will not open if the air temperature is below 70 degrees and the skies are cloudy. The water and deck will be cleared for at least 30 minutes in the event of:
- Lightning or thunder (see or hear)
- Emergency warning siren sounds
- Tornado warning or watch
- Heavy rain or winds obscure visibility
LOW ATTENDANCE POLICY
The Lodge Outdoor Pool will close when a minimum of 60 minutes have passed with five patrons or fewer swimming and/or entering the outdoor facility. In this case, the Outdoor Pool will be closed according to the following schedule:
9 - 11 a.m., 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. , or 4 - close.
Weather evaluations will be conducted by 8:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m. or 3:30 p.m. when applicable.
When it’s time for snacks, meal or a treat, visit the Lodge Café serving your favorites to keep you cool and refreshed (no outside food or beverages allowed besides water).
- A complete set of aquatic center rules are available.
- We have designated lanes for slow, medium, and fast swimmers. Choose a lane compatible with your speed then notify the others you are joining them. A list of lap swimming guidelines is available.
SWIM DIAPER POLICY
- Any child not yet completely toilet trained must wear an aquatic diaper in the pool. For your convenience, swim diapers are available for purchase at the front desk. Diaper changing stations are located in the restroom areas. For health reasons, we ask you not to change your child's diaper on the pool deck.
- People who are diaper dependent must wear an aquatic diaper in the pool. Adult aquatic diapers are available for purchase from a variety of organizations.
